Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at San Ardo Union Elementary School District! I hope you had a wonderful summer and are as eager as we are to begin a new academic journey.
The first day of school is just around the corner, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. To kick off the year, breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m., and classes will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. We encourage all students to arrive on time and ready to learn.
We are thrilled to introduce several new members to our dedicated team:
Mrs. Elizabeth Gonzalez will be joining us as the 1st/2nd grade teacher.
Ms. Laura Castro will be teaching our 5th/6th grade students.
Dr. Gaige Bailey will be leading the 7th/8th grade classroom.
Ms. Susan Nickerson will serve as our Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, providing valuable support to our students and families.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that our afterschool program will commence on the first day of school, August 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. We are excited to continue our partnership with ProYouth, who successfully ran our summer school program, and will now be providing enriching afterschool activities for students in grades 5-8. Mrs. Macias and Miss Abigail Santos will continue the afterschool program for our TK-4th grade learners utilizing educational materials from ProYouth.
Please mark your calendars for Back-to-School Night on August 22, 2024. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet the teachers, learn about the upcoming school year, and engage with our school community.
We look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday and embarking on a year filled with growth, learning, and success.
